Dear Parents,

            My name is Kristi Martin, and I am the new Junior High English teacher for Sacred Heart School, and I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.  I am from the Danville area, and I graduated from Averett University in 2008.  I more recently graduated from Wake Forest University with my Master’s degree in English.  In order to smoothly transition into the role of your child’s teacher, I have worked closely with Mrs. Gale Scott to get to know the children and to determine how to best develop their educational experience for the remainder of the school year. Together we have created plans for the rest of the year that I believe will not only help your child to learn a great deal but will also allow him or her to have fun while doing so.
