    Community Involvement

Rooted in Danville and the surrounding community, Sacred Heart School received the “Concilium for Education Award” for the school program of the year for our acclaimed mustared seed project. Each grade adopts a local agency and plans and participates in activities to help their adopted agencies. Agencies have included Danville Fire and Rescue Departments, God’s Storehouse, Homeless Shelters, Women’s Shelters, God’s Pit Crew and the Humane Society. Students in 4th-8th grade are required to complete community service. In addition, every grade adopts an agency as a part of the award- winning mustard seed project. Classes regularly participate in activities to help their adopted agency. Community service builds community leaders and develops character

    Extended Care

Sacred Heart School provides after-school child care at an additional fee for our students until 5:30 p.m. each day. Students complete their homework as well as develop social bonds with fellow students.
