About Us

Class Size and Student/Faculty Ratio

On average, there are 13 students in each class at SHS. Small classroom settings allow teachers to foster hands-on learning experiences with the students. With a 7:1 Student/Faculty Ratio, teachers can focus on the needs of individual students, thus creating more opportunities for every child to succeed and grow.

Accreditation

Sacred Heart School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Virginia Catholic Education Association. All full-time faculty are certified by the State of Virginia. For more information on SACS click here.

Enrollment

Currently, there are 223 students enrolled at SHS. The student body represents a myriad of faith practices, ethnicities, and income levels; thus teaching students about diversity and acceptance.

Standardized Test Scores

As a result of the premium education that students receive at SHS, students do extremely well on standardized tests. SHS students rank in the top 10% in nation. See the below chart for a breakdown of scores over the past six years.
