Mrs. Stone teaches Kindergarten, 5th grade, 6th grade 7th grade and 8th/9th grade religion.
KINDERGARTEN: The kindergarten class explores the student's place in God's kingdom. They learn about creation, bible stories and where they fit into God's kingdom on earth, the Church. We take field trips to the church to learn about items used by the priest during Mass. We also learn about those people who have lived lives we can try to emulate, the saints.
FIFTH GRADE: The fifth grade class is focused on the seven Sacraments and the effects they have on our lives.
SIXTH GRADE: The sixth grade will begin a study of the history of the church with the development of a knowledge base that introduces the characters of the Old Testament to the students.
SEVENTH GRADE: The seventh grade will study the life of Jesus and his teachings, mainly through the four Gospels with a focus on living the Gospel.
EIGHTH/NINTH GRADE: This year will be a comprehensive look at the creed of the Church, with an extensive look at the early church and it's development through history.
