Social Studies 5 ~ Project Rubric Items
The rubric for the Social Studies
Project will include but will not be limited to the following:

Typed copy adhering
to all guidelines given.
·
Paper must be turned
in on time or points will be lost.
(to be handed in during homeroom on Monday, 12/14.)
This means that it is READY to be turned in.
It should be in a report cover or stapled in the upper left-hand corner
when Mrs. Kilgore collects them.
Please do not put the reports in binders or page protectors.

All mandatory sources
used
·
Bibliography page
(separate from report)
·
Cover page with all
necessary information
·
Of course proper
grammar and mechanics will be graded in the written report
·
Proper grammar will
be noted in the oral report as well
·
Oral presentation
must be loud and clear with plenty of eye contact!
·
Audience manners and
participation will be noted.
Interruptions/distractions will result in a loss of points for that student.
·
Student is prepared
the day he/she has been assigned to give his/her report.
·
Diorama or poster is
complete and has good effort put into it.
It applies to the historical figure.
Students should give themselves
ample time to type up their reports.
I am not lenient with printer excuses.
Late will be considered late when homeroom is over on 12/14.
