GOD'S STOREHOUSE

The Mustard Seed outreach program is a school wide program that provides assistance to local organizations that are in need of others to fulfill their missions.  The second and fourth grade classes will be aiding God’s Storehouse.  God’s Storehouse distributes goods to needy families and individuals throughout Danville and Pittsylvania County.

Throughout the school year, the second and fourth graders will help these individuals through their monthly projects that will be given to the director, Becky Wales, to distribute as she deems necessary.  In addition, coats of all sizes will be collected and donated to this cause.  Periodically throughout the year, these coats will be transported to the facility.

Approximately each month the students will use their special talents in completing God’s Storehouse’s mission.  These activities will be teacher-directed and will be conducted during the school day.  They may involve decorating Christmas bags, collecting food, writing letters and cards to the volunteers, and raising money for God's Storehouse's new building.

Thank you for your support in extending help to others.
