English Presentations

The 8th Grade Class presented formal English presentations this morning. Each student chose a controversial topic and presented the pros and cons of the topic. Each presentation was grounded in research and was preceded by the completion of a formal paper. Each of the students did a tremendous job and Miss Crowder is extremely proud and impressed with all of their hard work!

Surprise for Mrs. Meadows

The entire student body, faculty, and staff of SHS gathered together in the Holy Family Gym yesterday to surprise Mrs. Meadows on her birthday. Everyone sat in the darkened gym to await Mrs. Meadows' arrival. When she made her appearance, the entire school began to sing "Happy Birthday". She was truly surprised and said she had "no idea" what was going on... Thank you Mrs. Meadows for all that you do for us at SHS. You are truly a blessing to hundreds of lives.

Mrs. Meadows listens as the school serenades her...
Hunter Crumpler   also celebrated his birthday on 1/13.
